Maybe you do deface ( in a good way ) Brazilian wiki pages, but you seem to have done a nice job in removing spam from this one. ;o) finding yo way around' Thanks! Keep up the good work my friend.
Um abraço!! ;o)

Ahh, right. Understand. Thanks. Will check out the links you posted.
Matthias originally had sole control over this wiki ( his server ) prior to my helping him out.
Now I host it, and we both have access, I can attempt to do something about the devils - have already blocked a few rogue users. Will look into adding in a few more useful plugins to boot. I think it needs it. ;o) Any and all useful input, gratefully received.
Regards to Brazil.

I have sysop rights now ( obviously ). Just not that familiar with the inner workings of Mediawiki yet.
You seem to be a hardened user of this media, I can always elevate you to Sysop if you'd like? ;o)
Elevation to Bureaucrat granted. Let me know if you experience issues or require further assistance. Enjoy! ChrisP 19:45, 4 October 2011 (BST)
Apologies. My attention has been engaged elsewhere, so I have not logged in here in good while. How's it all going? You seem to have been a very busy person! Brownie points, gold stars and thanks to you in abundance for time and effort spent! ;o)
Anything I can do to help, assist? Recommendations and suggestions for improvements etc, etc, always appreciated. Let me know, ok?

Even if you are just finding your way around, your contribution is very much appreciated. Your role can always be extended should you so wish it abd time allows. If you think any useful Mediawiki extensions should be added, please say.

A long list indeed!! Will see what I can do. btw, if ftp access would also assi st you, it can be arranged. Let me know. ChrisP 10:35, 29 November 2011 (GMT)
As long as you are happy doing what you are doing, then fine. Any 'mistakes' made can always be rectified, so no worries there either. Your contribution to the management of this wiki is welcomed. Carry on Sysop'ing. Should you need assistance please ask. ;o)
Will be installing the plugins that you have requested shortly. --ChrisP 19:52, 2 December 2011 (GMT)
As I keep saying, sterling work my friend, excellent effort. Assistance much appreciated. Keep it up.
An swfc course? You mean an extension/ipdate of the old existing swfc tutorial? I'm sure something could be started if there was interest.

CheckUser -- odd! Smacks of a php file having bad syntax and not rendering properly, or bad file permissions. Ass yet unable to locate prob. Will keep trying.

Hi, Long time no speak. How's it ll all going?
My apologies. I've not been able to check in for a while, and thus catch up with the backlog. Hopefully in the coming weeks that'll change ( but don't hold your breath :o] ) --ChrisP 21:36, 19 February 2012 (GMT)
For swfextract, I found the 1- option here... http://firstname.lastname@example.org/msg04813.html
Didn't know it existed before too.

A long absence from here. Back to see what can be updated.. and I see there are quite a few plugins that were requested. Will see what I can do with time available. Once again, thanks for your sterling efforts in keeping this wiki in check! ChrisP 02:14, 20 March 2012 (GMT)
.. thinking about it, maybe you'd care to highlight ( again ) the extensions you'd care to have installed? Still as per above list? ChrisP 02:45, 20 March 2012 (GMT)
Check User - OK. Will tweak/reinstall it later today. Could well be a permissions issue ChrisP 07:19, 20 March 2012 (GMT)
MediaWiki now at version 1.18.2 - http://wiki.swftools.org/wiki/Special:Version. Appears to have solved the issue with CheckUser. Let me know if you experience any further issues. Will go to work on some of the other extensions shortly. Cheers. 20:44, 23 March 2012 (GMT)
Couple more extensions added for testing. ConfirmEdit has been implemented with QuestyCaptcha. See it's extension page for the other variants. Let me know if you have any favourite questions. ChrisP 03:19, 3 April 2012 (BST)
Re: 'New problems'
.. went in to take a look. While there ( under ssh ), upstream provider suffered what I suspect to be a network switch error. As a result, got kicked out. Outage lasted around 3 minutes. Just got back in, and it looks like some damage has been done to the wiki extensions directory. Have disabled the affected extensions, and taken opportunity to upgrade wiki to version 1.19. Keep you posted. --ChrisP (talk) 15:55, 5 May 2012 (BST)
Update: Well on the road to recovery now. Wikimedia's version repository server playing up at moment. Will take break and do the rest later. You have a choice as to the Capcha. While it's good to know it's helping, it can be switched out if you want to pay with the spambots again. All say aaahhh. ;o) --ChrisP (talk) 16:41, 5 May 2012 (BST)
<snip>I guess we could now think about populating the wiki with hints and tutorials. Cthulhu.fhtagn (talk) 16:44, 5 May 2012 (BST)</snip>
- Fine. There's nothing much going on. Maybe I should write something about resizing, I had a lot of work trying (by trial and error) to do a zoom of an image while centering it in some place (a combination of change scalex scaley and move x y). Cthulhu.fhtagn (talk) 03:23, 17 September 2012 (BST)
- All articles welcome. Getting something central is usually achieved by dividing the Stage Height/Width to get the centre point of the Stage, then subtracting the correct part of the dimensions of the object you're are attempting to centre. Usually this is in screen pixels ( internally the swf uses Twips ).
I am using SWFTools, especially pdf2swf. But I have problems with a size of pdf docs, I am trying to convert some pdf's that are from 120Mb - 460Mb. Is this possible? I am getting error 'This is too complex to render SWF, only supports 65536 shapes at once' . Can this be fixed with some of parameters in pdf@swf command? I execute with poly2bitmap but this doesn't solve my problem.
Thanks in advance.
